More Than 127 Million User Has Been Attacked by KoobFace

According data of Internet Security Department there are more than 127 million user has been attacked by this virus named koobface using message sending feature of those social network sites to infect our PC. After infecting our PC, this virus also try to get any sensitive information such your credit card etc. Koobface it new method to attack social network sites user.

If user clicking in that link, then actually the user is being pointed to one of many hosts that will show you a fake error message from expired flash player. Then user asked to download/open a new flash_player.exe. And if we follow this instruction and download it, so koobface will infect our PC. Previously, many kind of virus has used facebook to duplicate them self, facebook advisor Barry Shnitt said that there is  a part of user has been infected by this virus

Koobface attack by sending a message to friend of PC user who has been infected before, the message is “You look just awesome in this new movie” leads user to certain site and ask to download file it claimed as an update of flash player from Adobe System. In McAfee blog, McAfee warning us that koobface is attacking facebook.

Message receive in facebook can be sent from facebook member only. Therefore, many users is not suspicious to the message they received. McAfee has not identified the suspected of koobface attack. From facebook has warned to the user to delete any suspicious email comes to their inbox. Facebook also posted instruction to clean computer it has been infected by this virus in http://www.facebook.com/security.
