Detecting Virus on Computer (Solving Problem)

This article may useful if our antivirus is not updated yet. When our antivirus updated it obviously if there is virus in our computer will be scanned easily, but it just can be done when we update virus database regularly. Then what happen when we can't update virus for more often, there some tips that we can do to know that our computer is infected by virus or not:

there is some symptom to predict is the virus infect our computer (for Windows only)

• If our computer work slowly it may causes by virus, beside we install many program on our computer.
• Appear some strange file on some folder ( file which has same name with document file or folder icon)
• Our computer restart or shutting down suddenly when we open some program like task manager, antivirus etc.
• There is any logo appear when we right click on my Computer > Properties.
• Some Option on our computer is missing (like run, search, folder option), can't open regedit.exe or command prompt.
• Antivirus wouldn't run.
• Sometimes there is some strange message or poem appear on desktop.

If we found one or more of it, there is some tips to search the location of virus that attack our computer. There is a tool/program needed, it's Autoruns this is part tools of SysinternalsSuit. For details visit http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/sysinternals/default.aspx.
For checking first open Autoruns chose logon tab. List showed, it is the files which run with windows when we turn on computer. If we find some strange file so we can disable it. (be careful do not disable file that run with windows) This is the list of file that run with windows and should be leaved default.

• rdpclip, main application handle for copy file bring function for terminal to copy and paste between server and client.
• userinit.
• explorer, is file manager for windows.
• ctfmon, application process owned by Microsoft Office, rule Alternative User Input Text Input Processor (TIP)

If there is application locate on strange place or on windows system but we don't know it, so it can be a virus. Then when we uncheck this program and after several time we refresh our computer and our computer back work properly so this file probably is virus.
